Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Events Assistant to join our dynamic events team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about event planning and coordination, looking to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment. As an Events Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of a wide range of events, from corporate conferences and seminars to social gatherings and community engagements. 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and coordination of event logistics including venue selection, catering, and transportation.
• Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to secure necessary services and negotiate contracts.
• Support event marketing efforts by distributing promotional materials and managing social media updates.
• Maintain accurate event documentation including schedules, attendee lists, and budgets.
• Provide on-site support during events to ensure smooth operation and promptly address any issues that arise.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Previous experience in event planning or coordination is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with event management software is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
