Introduction

You live and breathe social, and nothing beats watching a brand feed you built grow into something audiences love. As our Social Media Manager in the US, you own always-on content for a portfolio of world-leading brands across FMCG, fashion, automotive, and more, taking it from strategy all the way to performance reporting. You are the lead your clients trust every day, and the person internally who keeps every channel on track. You join a small, fast-growing US team, backed by 100+ Pulse people around the world, working remotely from New York City. Your tasks

• You own content strategies for a portfolio of US brand accounts, defining platform-native formats, content pillars, and creative direction across TikTok, Instagram, and other channels.
• You lead content planning end to end, from calendars and briefs through approvals, publishing, and community management, so every channel feels native, intentional, and on brand.
• You steer all production sources, from freelance designers, photographers, and videographers to internal design and influencer/UGC teams, and you join photo and video shoots on set when needed.
• You act as the primary client contact, running status calls, preparing QBRs, and pushing back on briefs that don't match platform or audience reality.
• You turn performance data into sharp insights, trend reports, and recommendations, and you work with Strategy, Creative, Influencer, and Paid teams to act on them.

Your skills

• You bring 3 to 5 years of hands-on social media management experience, ideally agency side, with proven results on brand accounts and a solid command of social analytics platforms.
• You think platform first, with TikTok and Instagram as your home turf, and you instinctively know which trends are rising, what feels native, and what kills engagement.
• You create content yourself, whether designed or filmed on a phone, and you work confidently with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, and Canva.
• You use AI every day, including tools like Higgsfield, to speed up research, drafting, content creation, and reporting, and you are excited to help shape how Pulse uses AI across our social workflow.
• You communicate with confidence, manage senior stakeholders calmly under pressure, and thrive on ambiguity, autonomy, and the pace of a small, agile team.
